Here are my FFXII fanart pixels. I wanted to do the little noseless pics in game, but those didn't turn out ok. Instead I went with whatever and came up with these. Here's a close up of the pixels pics.


Not Final Fantasy, but I also made a slime pic. I <3 slimes. I think they're the best thing about Dragon Quest. :3 I litered Wid's forum with slimes, and someone requested animated slime so here it is:

Rough full figure sketch of Vaan (omg not Balthier for once). The pose I was going to give him was suppose to have his left leg extended outwards, but that didn't work out.

Chocobo

Haven't had the time to finish the Penelo CG because Wid's been playing Mount and Blade and the computer cries when I cg. I made the most progress on the face but I still want to build it up more with more contrasts and contours and stuff.


Also finished revising the Balthier/Fran/Penelo full figure drawing and it's ready to be inked. Just have to draw Vaan (stupid pants), Basch, and Ashe before I ink everything.

White on Black

Decided to change gear a bit and move away from fanarts. I've been itching to try something besides my "usual" style. I wanted to try bolder colors and lines. Not totally want I wanted but okay.

Oh, I do have issues with the monitor. I drew a 600x600 box and measured it with a ruler. It was not a perfect square. I then ask Yanwen to see if the square is actually a square and she said it is.

Hm...

For some reason my scanned pic looks longer than the original. I wonder if it's a scanner or the monitor. Better figure out what's going on...

So not super happy with the face of the first Balthier pic so I did another sketch. It looks a bit better even though I didn't bother with any real expression. I also notice that I keep drawing heads facing to the right (their right, not mine). Maybe I should just go back to the first one and fix the coloring of the face because I should do better.

I think I'll draw good old Winston for the next cg practice since my own characters are sadly neglected. I'm also itching to do a straight to ink orchid pic. :D

B-day card/fanart

Birthday card for Widhy. I originally had a different idea, but Andy's comment in my journal inspired the end result. Done all in the computer with zero planning what so ever. Lots of mistakes and all, but whatever. Wid's happy and that's all it matters. :D
