I started this over a month ago, and now it's finally ready to be colored.

More FFXII Junk

Part of something I'm working on (one panel comics). I happen to finish sketching Fran and Balthier first so here it is. I ran out of paper so Fran's ears got chopped off. Didn't bother with the details or cleaning up the lines since I need to transfer this to bristol for inking anyway. I'm going to ditch the other pic from the previous day since the proportion is messed up. Clothes design that makes no sense confuses me. I'm going to draw Penelo next because I have a nice pose for her.

Balthier, again

Hm, I didn't realize that I drew the head too big until I scanned it. I'll just have to widen the shoulder a bit to fix that problem. It's weird that I'm drawing 8-head tall figures when I used to draw around 6.5 to 7-head tall figures. Pants was surprisingly not too hard to draw.

In game he seems to be slouching, but maybe it's the vest.

FFXII Balthier

Third Final Fantasy XII fanart started, but first to finish. The vest was a real pain in the butt to draw and color. To see all the details, check out the larger version of the pic. Now I should go finish the Penelo pic, as requested by Yanwen.

My favorite is the second one from the right. I always had trouble with the torso area when I draw that kind of poses.

Dirty Photos

I'm certainly not going to post some fanart as my first "real" post here. Instead, I'll show you some dirty photos.

Bonnie Bon Bon is just a naughty dog but she's such a cutey pie. I showed the first set of pics to Yanwen, and she requested dirty photos... (click for larger version)

Bonnie looked sad, but I think she actually enjoyed running around in the rain and rolling in the mud. It certainly made her nice and cool.

It's the Studio Cyen Annex

No idea if I'm going to do more with this blog since it's a bit of a spontaneous built. What I want to do is turn this into an art blog for daily sketches and 100 topics. I also was thinking about including random (not artistic) photos that I take in my daily life. Everything here will end up in Studio Cyen eventually, but maybe the lack of editing html or uploading junk to the server will get me to post more.
