Two things are going against this drawing: weird size and weird pose. I almost never draw figures in this size and it's really screwing up the proportion, but I do like there's a bit of depth, especially with the legs.
This is part of a larger drawing I'm working on, but this is giving me more problem than I wanted.
I can't post this in LJ because the one I'm making this pic is one of my friends in LJ. XD She requested Link and cute for the drawing meme I was supposed to be doing. I thought a sleeping Link would be cute, and if that wasn't enough, I added a stuffed animal and a sleeping cat. Because I did this pic on several sheets of paper, I had to put together the sketches in the computer to see how off my proportion and anatomy are. I need to shrink his left arm a bit, but other than that, it's not totally hideous.
Need to post the finished version of the other Zelda fanart that I finished recently.

Been wanting to do a Phoenix Wright fanart and then I saw a contest in a PW club in DA. Unfortunately, the deadline is Friday so I got a lot of work to do. I still have to draw other characters and the background, but after I ink the pic, it should take me very little time to color. I hope. XD
I started Hotel Dusk four days ago and I finished it last night. XD The art style for that game is so refreshingly different and the main character is so awesome that I did a quick fanart. It really didn't do justice to the character. Oh well. Maybe next time. I guess not too horrible considering how little time I spent on it.
Having fun drawing these two characters. I figure it's time to get back drawing poses but they're kinda sucky considering I didn't use any reference. Girl's feet look weird and the boy's neck sticks out a bit more than I liked.
Managed to wing it and finish drawing that shoulder armor thingie. I started coloring it... Wid suggested adding a bird or a chick on top of Basch's hand while I was originally thinking of having him holding a sword. Maybe I'll go with the bird because his hand would cover up the sword.
Yay, finally draw someone not Penelo or Balthier. Been wanting to draw Basch, but he's really stoic so I have no idea what kind of pose to give him. Stupid right arm gave me so much trouble.
Since it's been over a year since I inked with a nib pen, I had to do a bit of a warm up. The above picture is the result. Just a quick doodle.
Penelo's face is ugly in this version so I need to fix later. My plan for those one panel comics is coming along nicely. Still have to finish sketching Vaan (stupid pose I picked...), Ashe, and Basch. Then, it's on to inking.
